idealLED+ lights not detected by add-on and can't be added manually (bt log attached)

Hi,

I have some lights which I can control with the idealLED+ app on my phone but are not picked up by the HA add-on. I attempted to add the MAC address manually but the extension reported an "unknown error". I have one esphome BT proxy and a number of Shelly Plug Plugs providing bluetooth proxy support.

I have some traffic recorded between my phone and the LEDs. Let me know if you want anything other than my random mashings changing the whole strip colour. The remote device MAC

On my phone the app is called "iDealLED" so it's possible your lights speak a different protocol.

The device not showing up in the front end suggests a couple of likely scenarios:

• The device name doesn't start with isp- or idl-. Device filtering is very basic:

• Home Assistant can't see the device despite the Bluetooth proxies

I'd expect the first option. Using an app like LightBlue can you tell me what the device name is, and which characteristics is claims to support? A screenshot from Lightblue will suffice.

In the meantime I shall investigate the proxy behaviour of the Shelly Plugs. I'm definitely getting BLE advertisements through them but apparently I might need to re-flash with a pure esphome to get a full proxy.
