That is to say: workshop/<mapname>.ugc123456789 → <mapname>.
Here are the main reasons why this would be useful:
- Not having to maintain an extra
workshop subfolder in waypoints/<modname>/.
- Download and setup third-party waypoints more easily without having to manually rename the waypoint file to match with its workshop counterpart.
- Server owners who use Rafradek's workshop fix.
- Server owners who prefer to move workshop maps to FastDL.
It would make setting up waypoints more convenient and less redundant. In the meantime, I've been using #46 as a workaround to load waypoints that aren't specifically in workshop.
