Issue Details
There is inconsistent and seemingly incorrect behavior of video previews on https://sora.chatgpt.com across different browsers (Safari vs Google Chrome) and depending on whether a specific browser extension is enabled or disabled.
When using Google Chrome as a reference (baseline behavior), video previews start playing automatically as soon as the page loads, even without hovering over them. Audio playback is enabled only on hover, provided that sound has been previously enabled via the preview control in the top-right corner.
In Safari, especially on the first visit or after clearing browser cache and history, the behavior differs significantly in terms of loading time and preview playback.
Expected Behavior
Video previews should:
- Load and start playing consistently across browsers
- Begin playback immediately after page load, without requiring hover (if this is the intended design)
- Enable audio only on hover, assuming audio was explicitly enabled by the user beforehand
Initial page load time and preview loading time should be comparable between Safari and Chrome under similar conditions
Enabling or disabling the extension should not cause drastic differences in preview loading behavior

Google Chrome (with extension enabled):
- Video previews start playing immediately on page load, even without hover
- Audio plays on hover if it was previously enabled via the preview UI
- Page and previews load noticeably faster compared to Safari

- On first visit (or after clearing cache/history), video previews may take up to ~30 seconds to load and start playing
- The site opens with extension enabled, but preview initialization is significantly delayed
Safari (with extension completely disabled):
- Page loads faster than with extension enabled
- However, loading is still slower compared to Google Chrome under the same conditions
