Is it possible to use OCRA to create an executible from the gem?

Hi,

I'm new to programming and after trying out a few languages finally decided on learning Ruby.

Sorry if this isn't the right place to be asking this question but I did not see it mentioned anywhere on the VisualRuby documentation if it was possible to turn any program created with visual ruby into an executable for Windows/Mac/Linux ?

I know that OCRA exists and can turn gems into executables. Tried to search for the answer on google as well and could not find any answer.
