Add option to read the GPIO pin as input

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
The GPIO module has Button and Switch modules, which are great, but currently there is no way to read the state of the GPIO pin.

I would like to have a GPIO digital input pin and ability to read the input.

Oh, nevermind, the switch module has the feature:

If no argument is passed, the current state is printed.

Actually, it would still be nice to have similar feature, but instead of digital output, to have digital input.
