This is the ClickHouse Operator roadmap 2026.

• Easily configurable at-rest encryption via ClickHouse disks.
• Support for attaching network policies (Native k8s, Cilium)
• ClickHouse configuration validation
• Ports exposure via Custom Resource (for SSH, Prometheus)
• Support for different installModes for OLM (Operator Lifecycle Manager)
• Use the k8s Jobs for heavy operations (schema sync)
• Automated backups to S3. Similar CNPG + wall-g plugin.
• Automated ClickHouse release tracking
• Reasonable defaults for access mode for PV (ReadWriteOnce).
• Extend the number of events on reconcile errors
• Events for system.warnings
• Automatic release to OperatorHub
• Compatibility testing with different k8s versions
• Compatibility testing with different ClickHouse versions
