MIssing functions like "Set-CVSQLInstance" #10

@joaval

Description

@joaval

We're using SQL Server agent.
I want to set

  • SQL Server Property (SQL Agent authentication)
    and/or
  • SQL Server:InstanceName (Accounts)

Override Higher Level Settings -> Impersonate User -> User Name = xxxx
Override Higher Level Settings -> Impersonate User -> Password = xxxx

There is the cmdlets 'Get-CVSQLInstance' but no 'Set-CVSQLInstance'
Example:
$sqlallprop = Get-CVSQLInstance -ClientName xxxxxx -AllProperties
$sqlallprop.auth
UseLSA Override credential

 1        0 @{password=; userName=}

$sqlallprop.auth.credential
password userName

If setting in the GUI it might look like:

$sqlallprop.auth.credential
password userName

sjshfshfkhfkhdsfr23498r09faohofhohkjedhy2ewewe he= XXXX\yyyyyyyy

Would like to set username & password perhaps by a Credential object.

Or is there another way to set SQL Server Properties like described.
