No longer working with TS3 v3.0.18.2

This plugin fails to load on the newest TS3 version, works with prior versions(v3.0.18.1 and lower)

Can it get an update?

Unfortunately I don't plan to support this plugin any longer until TeamSpeak properly supports hotkey input plugins with a proper API. They've promised improvements several times, but so far there has been no change.

Currently gkey_functions.cpp is a big unmaintainable mess because it needs to reimplement tons of stuff that normally would be handled by TeamSpeak.

That is sad news indeed, was one of the major decisions for me to stay with a logitech mouse :(

i have done so, also managed to get the plugin working...
(this is on a fresh windows install, installed 2 virtual machine to see if problem persisted, wich they did but somehow this fixes the issue?)

reverted back to old version and upgraded it 1 by 1

1. TeamSpeak3-Client-win64-3.0.16
2. Install G-key plugin and test if it works
3. TeamSpeak3-Client-win64-3.0.17
4. Test plugin again
5. TeamSpeak3-Client-win64-3.0.18
6. Test plugin again
7. TeamSpeak3-Client-win64-3.0.18.1
8. Test plugin again
   9.TeamSpeak3-Client-win64-3.0.18.2
9. And final test

Could be the move to msvc2013 a couple of versions ago could cause that trouble - if you didn't statically link msvc2012 or didn't use another compiler, it's not brought with fresh installs.

@thorwe That's probably the reason, yeah. I originally built this plugin to use msvc2008 because that one was packaged with TeamSpeak. Later TeamSpeak switched to msvc2012 which I updated the plugin to use, but now they switched to msvc2013.

I'm not going to maintain it anymore, so your best bet is to install Microsoft Visual C++ 2012.
