Ran into this issue a couple of days ago so I uninstalled it. Really wanted this software so I just downloaded and installed the UniGetUI.Installer.x64 package and it did not do the "loopty-loop" install of the "latest package" that I experienced when I first installed it. So hopefully this has been fixed maybe?

To be honest though, I had a "kind of" similar issue when I downloaded the MS Store version. Every time I opened it, it tried to install version 3.7 and said it was a "bad install file".
