Why does the app require location accuracy?

Hello,
Love the idea of the app, using the latest build on android, but for some reason it never gets my location without location accuacy on? Google Maps, OsmAnd, Waze you name it functions just fine. This limits me to only use the map in browser (where it isn't an issue) but I like the app for adding new alpr locations. In the past I could just select no and it would leave me alone and I would have to manually find my location from there but now it pesters me with a pop up every couple seconds.

To answer the question in the title, because I suck at this. I've never done a mobile app. Struggled to get approximate/imprecise location working cross-platform for about a week and decided to cut my losses.
Doug is a G - no doubt he'll figure it out.

Understandable. The "My code doesn't work, I don't know why, and my code works, I don't know why" is a lifestyle. Just glad it's been thought of and is being looked into.
