Description:
The Antigravity Language Server (AI features) fails to start on Ubuntu 24.04.
The Developer Tools console shows a persistent "Language server killed with signal SIGILL" error immediately upon activation.
Technical context:
- CPU inspection via
/proc/cpuinfoconfirms that AVX and AVX2 instruction sets are present and supported on the host machine. - This is not a hardware incompatibility issue, but likely a binary/library conflict with the latest Ubuntu release (possibly related to the glibc/libstdc++ t64 transition in Noble).
- All standard dependencies (libnss3, libasound2t64, etc.) have been verified and installed.
Repro step:
- Install Antigravity version 1.13.3-1766182170 via the official APT repository on Ubuntu 24.04.
- Launch the Antigravity application.
- Observe the "Antigravity server crashed unexpectedly" notification.
- Open Developer Tools (Help > Toggle Developer Tools) and check the Console tab to confirm the
SIGILLsignal crash of the extension host/language server.
