Request: New release tag based on latest main branch

@declark1 @mdevino Could you please publish a new release tag based on the latest main branch?

The current latest release does not include recent commits that upgrade the tonic dependency. We need the updated tonic version in our project, and right now the only way to get it is to depend on the main branch directly via a git dependency, which is not ideal for production use.
