Description
Configuration
Wolvic version: 1.8.3
Hardware: Meta Quest 3 (OS v81.0)
Steps to Reproduce
- Launch Wolvic on Meta Quest 3.
- Open any webpage or stay on the home screen.
- Grab or click the drag handle used to reposition the browser window.
- The UI immediately jumps vertically out of the user’s view.
- Attempting to grab the drag handle at its new location moves the UI even further upward, sometimes above the user’s head.
Current Behavior
- Clicking the drag handle causes the entire window to teleport upward or outside the field of view.
- The window continues drifting up each time the handle is used.
- The issue persists even after:
- Factory resetting the Meta Quest 3, and
- Reinstalling Wolvic.
- Other apps on the Meta Quest 3 do not have this issue, so the behavior appears specific to Wolvic.
- This behavior started recently and was not present in earlier Wolvic / Quest OS versions.
Expected Behavior
- Dragging the handle should move the window smoothly, following the user’s hand or controller movement.
- The UI should remain stable and should not jump or drift when the drag handle is pressed.
Context
- This issue makes it very difficult to position the Wolvic window correctly.
- The UI jumps so far out of view that the only way to recover it is by pressing the Meta (Oculus) button on the controller to reset the panel position.
- It interrupts normal browsing and video viewing, since the UI often moves out of view.
Error Logs and Stack Traces
