Weird animation on small window with search box

Describe the bug
Weird animation on small window with search box, causing missalignment, and for it to be super tiny and still visible

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Resize window to be smaller
2. Type something in search box
3. Untype something
4. See the error (that it has a tiny box

Expected behavior
It should either completely disappear when no messages, or stay there.
Prob best for it to hide unless you click the icon if its a small size, tho.
