ASMR uses a HTLC construction. A PTLC, as formulated for usage here by COMIT in https://arxiv.org/pdf/2101.12332.pdf, is arguably considered optimal, as they will best integrate with Schnorr in the future, These changes can be started now, hence the issue now.
