[Bug]: Unable to connect to any dapp

Describe the bug

Using the latest RC v7.50.0 (2031), dapp connection for EVM accounts is not possible.

For Solana accounts there is no issue

Expected behavior

Connection to be possible

On Android, this old issue is still present on v7.50.0 (2031)

After closing and restarting the app, the issue is not present anymore:

For me first attempt to connect results in the behavior similar as described here #16690 - 'download the file ...."
Subsequent attempts to open the app blocked by the same 'download' message
