Hi Ospgrillage team,
I wanted to ask if there is a way to access node and element data in the grillage model other than using the predefined grillage name strings listed in the documentation (e.g. edge_beam, exterior_main_beam_1, interior_main_beam, transverse_slab, etc.).
If the number of longitudinal members exceeds the predefined ones (for example, more than 5 main girders), is there a supported way to extract node and element data for a beam that does not have a corresponding name string?
For instance:
- Accessing elements based on grid line index or position
- Querying elements using geometric criteria (x/z location)
- Any mapping between grid lines and element IDs
This would be very helpful for parametric models where the number of girders is not fixed.
Thank you for your guidance.
