Looking for UEFI Full ROM BIOS (.bin/.rom) for Lenovo 300e 2nd Gen (REUSE)

Hi everyone,

I am looking for a ready-to-flash UEFI Full ROM firmware file for my Lenovo Chromebook. I am using a hardware programmer (CH341a) to de-google the device and install Windows/Linux.

Hardware Specs:

Model: Lenovo 300e Chromebook 2nd Gen (Intel Version)

Board Name: REUSE

Platform: Intel Gemini Lake / Apollo Lake

Chip size: 16MB (W25Q128 or similar)

What I need:
I am looking for the latest stable version of the MrChromebox UEFI Full ROM (Coreboot). I need the raw .rom or .bin file (preferably in a .zip archive) that is exactly 16,384 KB (16MB) in size.

The official script/links are not working for me due to server-side redirects, so I need a direct download of the compiled file for the REUSE board.

'REUSE' is not a valid board name.

what URL are you trying to use that isn't working? There are no redirects.

why are you using a hardware programmer? You can't just flash the chip and have everything work.

Thanks for the reply. Let me clarify the situation:

Regarding the board name: The device is a Lenovo 300e Chromebook 2nd Gen (Intel version) 81MB S/N P2080CBQ MTM:81MB0008UK. According to the MrChromebox supported devices list, the board name is REUSE (GeminiLake platform). If I misspoke, I am looking for the UEFI Full ROM for the GeminiLake platform compatible with this specific Lenovo chassis.

Why the hardware programmer? The device is "Enterprise Enrolled" (school locked) and I am the owner. Since the enrollment blocks Developer Mode and the ability to run the firmware-util.sh script, external flashing with a CH341A is the only way to bypass the lock and install a standard OS.

About the URL: The links on the main site sometimes trigger a redirect to the landing page when I try to download the .rom file directly via browser. I am looking for a direct link or a mirror to the coreboot_uefi_reuse binary.

Flashing concerns: I am aware that a raw flash via CH341A requires moving the VPD (Serial Number, LAN MAC, etc.) from the original dump to the new BIOS to maintain functionality. I have the original 16MB dump ready for data extraction.

I just need the compiled 16MB UEFI Full ROM file for the REUSE board. If anyone could provide a direct link to the blob, I would appreciate it.

Thank you for the clarification. To be honest, I am a total beginner and I'm feeling a bit lost. I've read the documentation, but I am still struggling to actually download the correct .rom file from the directory listing.

Every time I try to download it, the link doesn't seem to work for me. Could you please provide a direct download link for the PHASER360 UEFI Full ROM? I just want to make sure I have the exact 16MB file before I use the CH341A programmer. I really appreciate your patience with a 'green' user like me.

The main problem is that I cannot even find a clear download link for the PHASER360 firmware on your website. I am looking, but it's confusing for a beginner.
To be honest, I'm at a stage where even connecting the hardware programmer felt like "black magic" to me. Now that I finally have the hardware ready and connected, I'm stuck because something that seemed like a simple "download BIOS" step has turned out to be the biggest obstacle. It's quite frustrating.

I don't publish direct download links for the images because:

1. I don't want to have to update them every time an image gets updated
2. I want to encourage people to use the script rather than using an external programmer, and having direct downloads works against that.
