Show storage usage in node selection #7992

@DavidePrincipi

Description

@DavidePrincipi

When sysadmin is adding a new application to a node, it's important to know the available resources, read: the free disk space. If a node has an additional volume free disk space is already displayed during volume selection, but nodes without additional volumes do not provide an alternative indication.

Proposed solution

  1. Display the free space of the root filesystem in the node selector. This is required by Install, Restore, and Clone/Move workflows. Note that the installation is available in Software Center and Domains and Users page.
  2. If a node has an active free disk alert because free disk space is low, the node selection should be inhibited, no matter if additional volumes are present or not.

Alternative solutions

  • Do not implement point 2
  • Add a 2nd paragraph to Additional volumes selection step: Other application files remain on the default volume
