What I Did

Created a fully scripted hex sticker generation system in data-raw/make_hexsticker.R with the following features:

Script Functionality:

• Automatically downloads the NG logo icon from the new_graphiti repo
• Generates a black background hex sticker with white border
• Places the NG icon in the center with "fpr" package name below
• Creates both high-res (300 DPI) and web-optimized (150 DPI) versions
• All parameters are configurable at the top of the script for easy tweaking

Files Created/Modified:

• data-raw/make_hexsticker.R - The main generation script
• data-raw/README_hexsticker.md - Documentation on usage and customization
• DESCRIPTION - Added hexSticker to Suggests section
• .Rbuildignore - Added man/figures to exclude logos from package build

Design Specs:

• Black background (h_fill = "black")
• White border and text (h_color = "white", p_color = "white")
• NG logo centered in upper portion
• Package name "fpr" centered below logo
• Can easily serve as template for dff and dfp packages

Usage

To generate the hex sticker, simply run:

source("data-raw/make_hexsticker.R")

The script will create:

• man/figures/logo.png (high-res, 300 DPI)
• man/figures/logo_small.png (web-optimized, 150 DPI)

All design parameters can be tweaked at the top of the script - see the README for details.
