field safety plan setup #14
Description
Refer to most recent documents when building new products. We can search the newgraph github site for repos and look at the latest gitpages (linked in bottom corner if not the top right of repositories) ex. https://github.com/NewGraphEnvironment/safety_plan_2021-041-nupqu-elk-fish-passage with pages at https://www.newgraphenvironment.com/safety_plan_2021-041-nupqu-elk-fish-passage/
- one of the most important thing is the table of sites with coordinates so people can reference where we said we were going that day
- color of vehicles is important so people know what to look for in the field if they come searching
- add other team members and try to get emergency contacts and accomodation info from them (doesn't always happen). These people get called if we checkin doesnt hear from us
- To avoid QA from me - rather than retyping things into word and maybe making errors its better to just take a screenshot and insert equipment lists. Its already typed once into https://github.com/NewGraphEnvironment/onboarding/blob/main/data/template_contacts_safetylog.xlsx
- name things per project so if it is misplaced its easy to search and find (ie. include parsnip in the title of the document)
- if possible we should put the contact info for the accommodations since that is who the safety person is suppost to call if something goes sideways. might have to figure out how to get the airbnb listing to tara
