• Air Quality & Smoke Exposure:
  Because we work outdoors all day, wildfire smoke poses a serious health risk. If air quality is poor, we may need to adjust work plans or reschedule field days. Be proactive about monitoring conditions and take breaks as needed.

• Discuss the risks as a group and consider alternate locations or schedule adjustments as needed. No one should feel pressured to work if conditions are unsafe, so make sure everyone on the team is comfortable proceeding.

has us adding the layer below to all new field projects (already there in open ones I think) . Noting to look at fire locations there in QGIS and on phones where it overlays with our field sites makes lots of sense I think -
