DocEase Code of Conduct | GSSoC’25

Our Commitment

DocEase is dedicated to maintaining an open, respectful, and collaborative environment for all contributors, regardless of their experience level. We strive to foster a community where knowledge-sharing, constructive feedback, and ethical contributions are prioritized.

Scope

This Code of Conduct applies to all DocEase-related spaces, including:

  • GitHub repositories (issues, pull requests, discussions).
  • GSSoC’25 communication channels (Discord, email).
  • Social media and public forums linked to the project.
  • Virtual or in-person events involving DocEase.

Community Values

We uphold the following principles:

Unacceptable Behavior

The following will not be tolerated:

  • Off-topic or self-promotional content without relevance.

Reporting Violations

If you encounter or witness any violations, please report them to:

  • Project Maintainers (via GitHub or designated GSSoC mentors).
  • GSSoC Organizers (through official channels).
  • All reports will be handled confidentially and addressed promptly.

Enforcement

Violations may result in:

  • A formal warning and request for corrective action.
  • Temporary suspension from project participation.
  • Permanent removal from the community in severe cases.

Contributor Responsibilities

By participating in DocEase, you agree to:

  • Engage respectfully in all interactions.
  • Provide proper credit for referenced work.
  • Maintain a professional and solution-oriented approach.
  • Support fellow contributors in a constructive manner.
