Sending smartphone camera image to robot

Hi! Am I right that the existing camera widget receives images from the robot?
If so, is there a way to send an image taken on the phone to the robot?

Yes you are right that the camera widget only receives images.
Either you have to implement your own widget sending the frames from a camera or you can browse various forks of this repo as there are a few that have implemented that already.
