Changes spawner to the entity in the Spawner Changer
Actual Behavior
Changes for a split second, changes back, and then spawns the entity inside.

Right click Spawner Changer with an entity inside on a Spawner
Suggestion on how to fix or supply fix
It feels like Sponges fault. It works on single player.
