Question about makeIndexFqs.py for ScalePlex.fastq #2

Thank you very much for providing the tool, it has been extremely helpful.
I wanted to ask whether there are plans for a new version of makeIndexFqs.py that would allow generating index files for ScalePlex.fastq.I am currently facing an issue where I only have the R1 and R2 files. I am able to generate the index files for ScaleRNA using the Python pipeline, but I cannot do the same for ScalePlex, and I need these index files for my analysis.
Could you please let me know if an updated version is available or planned?
