It consume lot of CPU

Hi,

When I run the project on my machine, it really uses a lot of CPU even when nothing is happening in the watched folder.

Compiled in Release

Do you have the same behavior?

Add in Worker.cs

while (!stoppingToken.IsCancellationRequested)
{
await Task.Delay(10);
}

This solved the problem in my Case.

I had output a Konsole.writeline() in the empty while loop for testing and found that the while loop is run very often.

As a consequence, I thought of adding a task.delay, which ultimately led to success.

I could not find any disadvantage, even if a delay of 1000ms is waited.

I apologize for not being active on this repo due to other work issues. I am glad that you guys found a solution to this issue. I did some digging and found that the empty while loop problem is an old and common one as described here

Pretty much, the empty while loop keeps the CPU too busy because it keeps checking the loop and not having enough time to do anything else.

I have checked and the current version of the .net framework I am using 8.0.403 has a version of the worker service template that automatically places a Task.Delay inside the loop. Thank for bringing this to my attention. I will update this in the repo soon.
