They both have issues compiling in Arduino Studio and have render my SproutBoard useless.

Could you pleas look into this issue. Something related to errors in files related to Time.

I know they are broken, they were built for a much older version of the arduino IDE and haven't been maintained. This doesn't make your sproutboard useless though, it just means you need to do the programming to make it do what you want it to do. These code bases serve as a guide and have valuable information like pin outs for all the features on the board.

I personally can't commit to improving the code at this moment but if you create or update anything I would be glad to feature it or merge it in.
