Can formEventClient be used to build custom devtools integrations?

I'm trying to integrate TanStack Form with Vue Devtools to track form data in the Vue Devtools panel. I noticed that the formEventClient is exported from @tanstack/form-core and is used by TanStack Devtools to track form events. I would like to use the same client to capture form data and display it within Vue Devtools.

I attempted the following code:

import { formEventClient } from '@tanstack/form-core';

formEventClient.on('form-api', (e) => {
  console.log(e);
});

However, this doesn't seem to be working as expected.
