Bug Report: Wrong IP ADRES / IP4/IP6 mixed

• I have searched the existing issues (both open and closed).

What happened or didn't happen?

In external screen
is EXTERNAL IP ADRESS displayed

the last weeks, i see a ip6 adress in the info, and not the ip4 when the tool starts up.
refreshing does not refresh the ip to ip4.

when i select other ip provider, it finaly gets the ip4 adress. After that is can return to the provider that was set on startup, it gets the correct adres also.

Did i have wrong settings? I searched, but can't find ... so weird...

@CMTriX, I haven't determined how you are getting a IPv6 address yet, but I do see why it may not clear up when refreshed. I can add something to fix the refresh issue and see if that helps your situation.

I see from your settings that you were using ip-api.com. Does the problem only occur when you use ip-api.com?

I've added a step that will clear the list that holds the external IP data from the provider when a refresh is done. You may notice that the data blanks out momentarily when refreshed.

I've also added functionality that will save the raw JSON from the external provider to a text file. This file could be examined to see if the provider is returning an IPv6 address. The three-dot menu in the upper right has a new entry called Save provider JSON. The command will also be available with the Ctrl+J key combination. It is important to capture the JSON before refreshing the external data.

The addition to the menu introduces two language new strings:

I realize that this doesn't "fix" your issue with seeing an IPv6 address. However, it gives us a tool that will show if the provider is returning an IPv6 address.
