Code of Conduct

Our Commitment

We are committed to providing a friendly, safe, and welcoming environment for all contributors and users, regardless of level of experience, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, personal appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, age, religion, nationality, or other similar characteristic.

Expected Behavior

  • Be kind and courteous. Treat everyone with respect and consideration.
  • Be collaborative. Work together constructively and help others learn.
  • Be patient. Remember that everyone was a beginner once.
  • Accept constructive criticism gracefully. We all make mistakes and can learn from them.
  • Focus on what is best for the community. Prioritize the project's health over personal preferences.
  • Respect differing viewpoints. Disagreements happen, but they should be handled respectfully.

Unacceptable Behavior

The following behaviors are considered unacceptable:

  • Harassment of any kind, including offensive comments related to personal characteristics
  • Trolling, insulting, or derogatory comments and personal or political attacks
  • Public or private harassment including unwelcome attention or stalking
  • Publishing others' private information without explicit permission
  • Spam, excessive self-promotion, or off-topic content
  • Other conduct which could reasonably be considered inappropriate in a professional setting

Enforcement

Project maintainers are responsible for clarifying and enforcing standards of acceptable behavior. They have the right and responsibility to remove, edit, or reject comments, commits, code, issues, and other contributions that do not align with this Code of Conduct.

Instances of abusive, harassing, or otherwise unacceptable behavior may be reported by contacting the project team at developer@venizia.ai. All complaints will be reviewed and investigated promptly and fairly.

Scope

This Code of Conduct applies within all project spaces, including:

  • GitHub repositories (issues, pull requests, discussions)
  • Project documentation and wikis
  • Official communication channels
  • Project events and meetups

Attribution

This Code of Conduct is adapted from the Contributor Covenant, version 2.1, and inspired by the Rust Code of Conduct.

Thank you for helping make Ignis a welcoming community for everyone.
