Looks good and nice job implementing so many of the optionals already. This exercise is intended in part to give you an introduction to the general rhythm of this course. The course is entirely project based with an app being assigned each week and then due the following week. Each project builds on the last to help each engineer to learn all practical Android development and best practices as quickly as possible. We also do a code review for each submitted project.

I have 2 concerns which we can discuss on here or via our phone call:

1. You have already been an Android engineer for 2 years. Most of the people applying are experienced engineers but without substantial android experience. This would put you at a significant advantage but also means the course would likely involve a lot of review for you on topics you already know.
2. You live in Atlanta. How would you be able to make accommodations for moving to SF for 8 weeks? I would be concerned for you moving here and paying all the associated costs to attend this course and room and board. We have had several people move here for the course in the past successfully, but I would want to be sure this makes sense for you. Since you live in Atlanta, you might want to take a look at https://training.bignerdranch.com/classes/android-bootcamp since they have courses and their HQ is in your neck of the woods. I have my own concerns about the quality of their training and the fact that it's 1-week and I don't believe that's how effective retained learning works but thought I'd at least point it out.

If you want to move forward, the next step is to continue working on extensions to your todo app and to schedule a short 5-10 minute phone conversation here. Navigate to today's date and onward from there and choose a 15-minute slot. Let us know if none of those times work.

I know about BNR, and I was considering them at one point but like you mentioned the 1 week thing was a turn off for me. I don't mind flying out and attending for allotted time, and can afford it.
