Phone calls and alarm can't be muted. #831

The bot keeps yapping. Three minutes have passed of me trying to mute my phone, so I don't have to listen to the automated bot response that takes exactly 5 minutes. It is the last thing on earth I want to hear, but I have to call the hotline anyways. I have called it three times. I am listening to the automated bot for the third time.

Why can't I mute it? If I reduce sound volume to 0, the slider jumps back up. It just tells me: No, bro, we are gonna patronize you and treat you like a little child and not allow you to use the hardware you paid 1000$ for in the way you want. There is a volume slider? HAHAHAH . It literally does not work. It is literally unuseable.

This is at least a terrible patronizing design choice, but more likely, a bug. Please fix it.
I uninstalled Android over this. NEVER again Android, until this is fixed.

I mean, seriously, turning the sound off is one of the most elementary and basic functions a phone should be able to perform. You are a multi billion dollar company. Why can't you program a mute button that works. How hard can that be.

Hire me, if you are unable to code working sound settings. I will fix that issue and then quit.
