I was installing Arch Linux on my external SSD (/dev/sda) via archinstall while booted into EndeavourOS on my laptop, it crashed while installing systemd-boot

Never tried installing from Endeavour OS but you don't happen to have the stack trace too? You cut the log off right at the juicy bit ^^ (edit: blindly I didn't see the pastebin)

Looks like a simple fix on:

archinstall/archinstall/lib/installer.py

Lines 1774 to 1776 in 5a4b613

To account for it not existing, which is kinda weird tho.

dracut is being installed instead of mkinitcpio:
