Option 2: The "React-Way" (Recommended for Single Page Apps)

Since AZLib is a Single Page Application (SPA), the standard HTML snippet above might only track the initial load and not subsequent "page changes" when users navigate between the Map and Search views. To fix this, use a library like react-ga4.

1. Install the dependency:
   Run this command in your project terminal:

   npm install react-ga4

2. Initialize in App.js or index.js:
   Open azlibrary_react/src/App.js (or your main entry point) and add the initialization logic:

What about the fact that this code serves both the azlib and the minedata sites?

We're also already using the react-gtm-module module, though it doesn't look like this is configured in the env on prod

I think what we learned last time was the react gtm module didn't work right (probably why analytics isn't registering anything)? As for the mine data and library being the same... I guess that's just the way it's gotta be?

I could SWEAR, absolutely swear, that we got this working, but I logged into google analytics and it is not, nor can I see any email anywhere where we got it working and we didn't close this issue...

Oh, it looks in the commit version history that the issue is we never updated from dev to main...
