Second, I just noticed this:  Devtools suggests some CORS issue:  I think you'd want to also [enable SSL for GitHub Pages](https://help.github.com/articles/securing-your-github-pages-site-with-https/#enforcing-https-for-your-github-pages-site) since this is not a custom domain.
