[FR] How to create a new or toggle a list

I want to assign some hotkeys to make an existing line to a bullet point a checkbox or any of many numbered list options. After reading all the :help bullets I still can't figure out how to do it. I can use <C-d> in insert mode to demote an item and remove the - but that is it. I am specially looking for a hotkey to make a checklist item out of regular line.

Thanks for this great plugin, it is very intuitive and vim-like.
