<h4>LMS Lectures:</h4>
<p>In September 2020 I gave two lectures on topological solitons as part an <a href="https://www-users.york.ac.uk/~bv557/LMSOnlineLectures.html">NBMPS</a> lecture series funded by the LMS. The videos of the lectures have gone up on the LMS youtube channel, <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=33JLo7OPGHU&list=PLsDn5JyJXoYK9GzEdQOrOmkaTGUnHZAuG&index=1&ab_channel=LondonMathematicalSociety">lecture 1 here</a> and <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kh8ltGxVPPo&list=PLsDn5JyJXoYK9GzEdQOrOmkaTGUnHZAuG&index=2&ab_channel=LondonMathematicalSociety">lecture 2 here</a>.</p>
<p>Another set of LMS funded Solitons lectures was put on by the Yorkshire Durham Geometry Day and delivered by Chris Halcrow, <a href= "https://sites.google.com/view/josh-cork/">Josh Cork</a>, and Tom Winyard. These lectures are available <a href= "http://www1.maths.leeds.ac.uk/~pmtcjh/LMSsoliton/">here</a>. They cover complimentary topics to my lectures, including; vortices, instantons and the Nahm transform, and nuclear Skyrmions. </p>
<h2>Supervision</h2>
<p>At UCC I supervised a final year project on magnetic skyrmions.</p>
<h2>Lecture Notes </h2>
<p>If I produce any lecture notes that I think are worth sharing then I will link to them here. </p>
<ul>
<li>I have produced an html version of my lecture notes for STM0005 Physics. The notes are available <a href ="https://cdross1.github.io/STM0005/"> here</a>. I am slowly adding more figures to these notes and trying to make them more accessible. If you notice any mistakes in the notes then please let me know. </li>
<li>Lecture notes for the 2025 version of the module MAT1001 Differential Calculus are available <a href ="https://cdross1.github.io/MAT1001/"> here</a>. These notes are regularly updated, as with the STM0005 notes if you notice any mistakes please let me know.</li>
<li>The lecture notes and slides for my LMS lectures are available on the NBMPS page and <a href= "https://cdross1.github.io/notes/topology_in_physics_lecture_notes.pdf"> here</a>. The Lecture slides are <a href= "https://cdross1.github.io/notes/topology_in_physics_lecture1.pdf"> here</a> for lecture 1 and <a href= "https://cdross1.github.io/notes/topology_in_physics_lecture2.pdf"> here</a> for lecture 2. </li>
<li>Unfinished lecture notes for PY3104 are available <a href="https://cdross1.github.io/teaching/py3104_statistical_thermodynamics.pdf">here</a>. </li>
<li>A set of unfinished lecture notes for PY4126 are available <a href="https://cdross1.github.io/teaching/py4126_radiative_processes.pdf">here</a>. </li>
