Qt Support

Hello. I am attempting to write a UI in Qt for a custom application. I have seen examples of Qt5 being used, but not Qt6.

I am having an odd error that I have narrowed down to the following:

As you can see, i am successfully importing Qt6 through PySide6, but initializing the App seems to crash Cadwork. When i run this code from my desktop I have no issues launching the GUI, so it only happens from the shell.

Do i need to avoid this method altogether, or is there a work around? I'm a bit confused what the error is.

Hi,

In cadwork 3d versions <2026 you have to use Qt5.
Versions >= 2026 uses Qt6.

We recommend using PyQt.
