Default Dashboard resets after Restart

So my issue is that the Dropdown Helper is restetting to the default lovelance dashboard after every restart of HA and the Plugin in kinda useless. I really like the effort put into the plugin as it is a fundamental Feature Homeassistant hast implementet yet for some reason.
If it helps I'm running the Home Assistant OS on a respberrypie.

A workaround: you can set an automation to run on HA startup. Create the below yaml as an automation, changing lovelace to the URL of your dashboard and it will make sure it sticks :)

That would be amazing. I haven't had much need for this plugin after creating it. Happy to let it be handled by someone else for the community's benefit.

@shinypancake I gave your fork a shot, but still running into issues following HA restarts. The bool helper remains 'on', but the select helper reverts back to 'lovelace' & only two of my four custom (yaml) dashboards are listed. Quickly able to get things back in working order via refresh >> F5 >> select correct default, but ideally don't want to have to do this following each HA restart.
