- I am often frustrated when a web novel has a low-quality cover, no cover at all, or a cover that doesn't match my personal library aesthetic. Currently, I have to use external tools like Calibre to manually swap the cover after the EPUB has already been generated.
Describe the solution you'd like
- I would like an "Upload Cover" button or area within the WebToEpub extension interface. This would allow users to select a local image file (JPG/PNG) from their computer to be used as the official book cover during the "Pack EPUB" process, overriding the default image found on the website.
Describe alternatives you've considered
- Post-processing: Using Calibre's metadata editor to "Polish" the book and replace the cover, which is time-consuming for large batches.
- URL Input: Providing a direct URL to a different image in the "Advanced Options," though a direct file upload would be much more user-friendly.
- Additional context
- This feature would be especially helpful for sites with broken image links or generic placeholder covers. It would streamline the creation of "bookshelf-ready" files directly from the browser.
