Render links for non-standard protocols e.g. ssh://

Hi,
Besides keeping notes, I.m trying to make flatnotes a 'portal' to my systems, which seems quite feasible. I only ran into an issue with url's

These work
mailto
gui http
gui https

but not this.
ssh as root

the url "ssh://root@localhost" works from the web-browser's address bar (opens the ssh app)

Hey @ka-mp-6765. I'm not sure that this is a flatnotes issue. Perhaps it's a browser restriction? If you can provide an example of where this works and it what browser, I can take a look.

as described above, an url like mailto:root@localhost and http://localhost work
but ssh://root@localhost does not work in flatnotes.

I tried ssh://root@localhost in the addressbar (firefox) and it opens the app and start ssh session. I also tried lighttpd webserver and an that works too

Ah, it does look like the Markdown renderer prevents this type of link from rendering correctly. The renderer itself is a 3rd party package so not something I can easily modify. I'll leave this open as a suggestion, and if there's enough demand I can look into it further.
