Opening ICS from Mail: Calendar forgets all calendars the first time

What Happened?

I really enjoy the feature in Mail to open ICS files immediately:

However, the first time i click the button, and Calendar opens Calendar never seems to know any calendar

I need to close the dialog, then try again, to get a list of calendars i can save the event from ICS in

The bug seems to occur when calendar was not already running
it does not happen when calendar is already running beforehand
