I think your module is not asynchronous. That's suck. And no support for Map, Set.

I believe it's because you are stringify an object with circular references, which we dont support right now. Feel free to come up with a PR for that.

What make you think stringify should be asynchronous?

Hi, yes, I used object with circular referencies. I wanted some websocket instances and peerconnections to store into database with no luck. Does not matter. I understood it's inpossible and a bad practice. Better C to use for this.
I also modified your library a little bit to support a Map and a Set. It's great, but not asinchronous approach.
It needs if you say want to loop a big associated array of complex objects) I have tried to modify but with no luck) Those RegExp I have no idea for that and leave it there.

Asynchronous mode is a hero in a nodejs environment. Very big associative array to loop. With a concurrence limit. As it asynch.js library does. Async.forEachOfLimit method.

Call stack limit exceeded is a nodejs matter. It means that some recursive function calls itself many many times. That brings to memory leaks as I understand and node.js throws an error and stops the process.

With Set is a problem. If you modifys a Set instance to string so if back to Set from a string is catastrophish for the early data.
Say you have var obj={mama:"papa"} and sets this obj into new Set() so later after parsing the string you can't references to this obj any more.
