Dragging a multiple images quickly doesn't convert the image

Steps to replicate:

1. have the finder window near the browser, have an image block with the media manager open
2. drag an image from the finder to the media manager (see that it converts)
3. tab to the finder
4. drag another image from the finder to the media manager (see that sometimes it doesn't convert and the blue drop area indicator doesn't appear - unsure if this is related)
