explain all the steps in an build process:

e.g. build baseimage -> get all other packages -> exec.config -> exec.late -> build disklayout -> make bootable -> convert

(and what was forgotten :-D )

Are convert* and image* scripts documented somewhere? Could not find any docs explaining how they work. For example they have different arguments.
