HyperFormula 3.3.0 is the largest function release in the project's history — 20 new Excel-compatible functions in a single update!
WHAT'S NEW
- D* database functions: DSUM, DAVERAGE, DMAX, DMIN, DPRODUCT, DCOUNT, DCOUNTA, DGET, DSTDEV, DSTDEVP, DVAR, and DVARP. These let you filter and aggregate structured data using criteria ranges, all within a formula — no external query logic needed.
- PERCENTILE and QUARTILE families: including .INC and .EXC variants for Excel-consistent boundary handling
- TEXTJOIN: concatenate ranges with a delimiter, skip empty cells
- SEQUENCE: generate arrays of sequential numbers; configurable rows, columns, start value, and step
Full list of built-in functions
FIXED
- Two memory leak fixes for long-running instances
- new
maxPendingLazyTransformations config option for explicit memory control
NEW AI TOOLS
- HyperFormula & Handsontable Skills: We've published official Claude Code Skills for both libraries, and made them available in multiple formats for use across all platforms and coding tools.
We're also working on 3 new AI integrations — letting agents offload formula evaluation to a deterministic engine instead of recomputing it on demand
