Provide a linter

Are there any plans to also provide a golangci-lint compatible linter that reports new major versions?

It's not something I've considered. Reading through the golangci-lint docs, the linters need to be implemented as go/analysis passes. Seems like a round-peg/square-hole situation. I'm open to being convinced otherwise though.

I think it should be doable as there are some import linters like https://github.com/OpenPeeDeeP/depguard

I'm more worried about how expensive doing all the modproxy queries would be on every pass. I think a pre-requisite here is some type of local caching layer.
