Notification locale translation

Describe the bug*

I want to change the backend language to recive email notfication in italian.

i have set up lot of configs working in /etc/inventree/config.yaml but language: it-it do not work

# Select default system language , or use the environment variable INVENTREE_LANGUAGE language: it-it

set a env variable in /etc/inventree/conf.d/other , do not work

export INVENTREE_LANGUAGE="it-it"

any suggestion?

Inventree in a LCX container under proxmox installed from https://community-scripts.github.io/ProxmoxVE/ script

So, that part is at least correct. Perhaps there are some other issues going on with the email notifications? Any email messages in particular you are looking at?

it's seems correct , i have all email (new user , change password , low stock notification) and web notification in english, web frontend in italian from user setting.

it's the backend that is not in italian

i see the modify that you have made but it's only for the fronted translation? i have the problem with the backend because in the frontend the language user setting option works

The frontend translations issues are separate, I think this is related only to notifications.

The issue is that the notifications are created once, and likely not being translated appropriately as per the configured language setting.

#11412 only fixes the frontend locale setting, the issue here is that notification messages are not correctly translated to the users custom locale as they are "baked in" when being created

Can we maybe change the title / create a new issue that is clearer on what the problem is? I found this one confusing on triage with this half solved state
