iOS/iPadOS: Part subcategories not visible (only top-level categories shown)

Describe the bug*

When using the InvenTree mobile app on iPhone and iPad, the Parts → Categories view only shows the first-level categories. Subcategories are not displayed or navigable.

This makes it impossible to browse inventory organized using nested category structures.

This may be related to or a regression of issue inventree/InvenTree#791 (App not showing subcategories), which was recently marked as completed.

Navigate to Parts
Open Categories
Select a category that contains subcategories

Expected behaviour

Opening a category should display its subcategories.
User should be able to navigate deeper into the category tree before viewing parts.

@Jamespcman in the "subcategories" view, select the "filter" button and you can select whether or not to show subcategories. Can you please verify which option is selected?

It looks like the default value for these filters is not set correctly - fix incoming in #793

Thank you for your response, I was able to find that setting. Is there a way for it not to show all the subcategories but keep it inside tree. Right now just list all the sub categories. I was hoping it would maintain the structure. Thanks again for your help.

It should only display subcategories within the current tree. Are you seeing it display all categories from every view?

Yes, when I click on the parts icon in the app, it displayed all sub categories and not the parent.
